Beautiful Instrument Production 1984, made in Japan in the famous Tokai Gakki factory, bass historically famous for being a faithful replica of the Fender Jazz Bass of the early 60s (in particular from the period 1963-1965). Produced during the so-called "Lawsuit Era".
Alder body, very nice maple neck with rosewood "veneer" fingerboard, that is, thin and rayed, exactly as Fender did in the early 60s.. (and something that Fender has never done in its own reissues!!)
RESTORED BASS, properly repainted body and matching Headstock by a pro luthier, with restoration of original decal ..color is faded Sonic Blue.
Everything in perfect order both aesthetically and functionally.
Electronics replaced with new potentiometers and wiring
