Babicz, Bartolini, Gotoh Res-o-lites, Brazillian maple/Ovangkol.
This bass guitar was built around 2016 by the Italian luthier Davide Cardone with an excellent craftsmanship.
Meridian is an Italian brand with an established name in the European bass guitar world.
The brand is known for its custom work, where carefully selected woods and innovative design take center stage.
This bass guitar offers a wide tonal range with a fast attack, extraordinary sustain, and an ergonomic design.
The tuning machines have recently been replaced with brand-new Gotoh Res-O-Lites for an even better balance and tuning stability (>150€ upgrade).
The slight vagueness you see on the back of the tuners is due to the protective plastic that is still on there.
The 24 stainless steel frets are in perfect condition.
Scale: 34"
Body: Ovangkol/Pau Amarelo/Ovangkol Neck: Pau Amarelo with AAAA maple strip Fretboard: Ebonol, 24 stainless steel frets with 16" radius
Pickups: neck – Delano JSBC5 (HE/M2), bridge – Bartolini Soapbar (P25CBC-T)
Controls: Bartolini AGDB/918-2 Dual Channel Adjustable Gain Buffer wired with master volume + V/T for each pickup + three way switch for the bridge pickup (coils in parallel/single coil/series)
Tuners: Gotoh Res-o-lites (NEW!)
Bridge: Babicz (19mm spacing)
The new price of these bass guitars starts at €4000, so an asking price of €1,650€ for an instrument of this quality seems reasonable to me.
Trading in a field recorder or audiocamera(Tascam/Zoom) and or a Line 6 HX stomp / TCE Plethora is definitely an option.
Not interested in other trade offers.
The bass guitar comes with a brand-new, simple but sturdy Thomann gig bag.
(Alternatively I can also get a Harley Benton LightCase for it for 50€ extra)
Pickup/testing is possible in Ghent, Belgium.
Insured shipping within the EU is possible.
