Ein Zitat aus dem Talk Bass Forum:
"The Kingston Heir is one if not the best bass for the money in its price range.
I played both the passive and the active one, and prefered the active. It will sit very well in the mix and is slightly more agressive sounding than the passive (which I heard will be discontinued).
The string spacing is wide, compared to my Kinal, but I got used to it pretty fast. The neck is very comfortable, and the bass itself is very light compared to any other 5 string I've tried, and even some 4 strings.
The electronics is cool. The bass control is very powerful, and make the volume go up as you boost it...but the frequency is well choosen. The mid control gets honky if you boost it too much, but is very cool around the center. The highs are useful for slapping if you boost, or for getting that flatwound sound if you cut it......."
