1969 Fender Jazz Bass, completely original and in very good condition.
Original 3-tone sunburst finish.
Serial number 69.
Neck dated 69.
Tuners OK.
Pickups 69.
Potentiometers 66.
Frets worn but original, still functional (30%).
Superb condition, the bass has been well played and has the inevitable small dents and scratches here and there, but nothing dramatic. It is a very moderate natural relic considering its 56 years. Well maintained, the truss rod turns perfectly and effortlessly in both directions. A previous owner made a small notch in the pickguard so that the neck could be adjusted without dismantling anything. Very stable neck. G machine head a little harder than the others but works normally.
Weight: 4.2 kg.
New Dr Pure Blues 45-100 strings.
Ernie Ball Straplock fitted but I will provide the original strap buttons, of course.
No pickup covers or original case. The bass will be delivered with a new moulded Gator GL case.
Detailed photos available on request.
Trial possible, of course.
Part exchange possible, to be discussed (Nash PB, Fender Precision American Standard, Musicman Stingray, etc.). Only 4 fretted strings, completely original with no modifications and in very good condition.
Delivery with insurance in a reinforced cardboard box at the buyer's expense.
