For sale is an interesting bass guitar: a 1986 Japanese Fernandes FRB-70. Made in Japan, from the best years of this much-missed brand.
The "Revolvers," as they were called, are a very original design: a tiny, lightweight alder body (the guitar weighs about 3 kg!), a compact headstock, two powerful FGI humbuckers, and a 32-inch scale, meaning medium. Plus, a very slim, narrow (38 mm at the nut) neck. It's small, easy to handle, yet sounds like a small truck. There's plenty of low end; the bass literally pushes air—it would be perfect for reggae or related genres, for example.
The guitar is in excellent condition technically and in very good cosmetic condition. The only noticeable flaw is a paint chip on the corner of the headstock; it's been painted over, but not very well. The red lacquer looks beautiful, but the dark, dense rosewood fretboard is even better. The truss rod works flawlessly, the action is low, and the frets require no work.
A thin gig bag is included.
Can be played in Poznań (Poland); I can ship within the UE safely.
Private sale, no warranty, return etc.
No trades as well, sorry.
