I just started playing bass in two new bands during the last two weeks and I need to free up some cash for a new gig-ready amp, so I have to sell/trade some of my very recently bought new toys to put the money towards a new bass amp.
I also have a brand new Fender Rumble 100 and an EQD Levitation Reverb to offer, so a combined trade for a lightweight, gig-ready bass amp or combi is definitely an option.
The Orangewood Juniper is a parlor-shaped guitar with a rubber bridge, flatwound strings, and a Hot Rail pickup.
This combination creates a very unique sound, distinguished by very short sustain, a sound with plenty of bass, and a unique character.
I imported this 3 weeks ago from Andertons in the U.K., and with import and customs costs, the price came to €550.
Because the factory setup left much to be desired, I have since had the guitar professionally set up, adjusting the nut and bridge height (the action has been reduced from >3.5mm to a comfortable 2.4mm), and the intonation is now perfectly tuned with a fresh set of Ernie Ball flatwounds.
In total, I have invested well over €640 in this guitar, but now it actually plays and sounds good enough to be used in a band.
The guitar also comes with a high-quality gig bag and all the goodies, tools, and paperwork.
The original packaging and invoice are also still available.
Considering it's less than 3 weeks old and that it just had a pro set-up with a fresh set of Ernie ball flatwounds I value this at 495€.
As mentioned above a combined or partial trade with a gig-ready bass amp or combo is definitely an option.
