Hello everyone!
I am selling some basses to finance a new purchase.
So here is a magnificent MTD 635-24, perhaps the most beautiful MTD I have ever had in my hands and the one I have kept the longest. This bass is monstrous, the neck is a total joy, and the sound terrific. I am parting with it a little reluctantly for a new purchase and also because it is no longer the sound I use today.
So we are on a 6 string with a 35 inch scale, in perfect condition, and without any issue.
You can hear it and see it in detail via this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-oQt_sd3HaqYJhttMuj-fPpGMhEdfBaG
For additional sound clips I can make them on request without any problem, just ask me.
Here are the full specifications of this bass:
Body: Domestic Tulipwood
Top: Maple Burl
Neck: One-piece Wenge, screwed in 4 points, modern D-shaped thin profile
Fingerboard: Gabon Ebony
Trussrod: 1 double action in excellent condition and perfectly functional
Tuners: Hipshot Ultralite
Saddle: Bone
Inlays: MOP on the edge
Scale: 35 Inches
Frets: 24 Jescar EVO Gold frets in excellent condition
Pickups: MTD/Bartolini Reverse P
Preamp: +/-9V MTD/Bartolini replaced to new in 2019 with Tobias

Bridge: Hipshot B Brass
String spacing at the bridge: 18mm
String spacing at the nut: 9mm
Finish: Satin Blood Red just sublime
Hardware colors: Black
Straplock: Dunlop
The action at the 12th fret under the B string is currently 2.25mm and 1.5mm under the C string. You can still go down without any problem without frieze and I set the neck almost perfectly straight to have a nice growl.
Comes with its original black case in good condition and two new batteries.
Year of manufacture: 2002
Country of manufacture: USA
Weight: 4.3kg
Price: €3800
For the little story, the letters GA (neck/body/neck pocket/battery cavity) are written everywhere, it may be an ex-bass by Andrew Gouché but I can't confirm it, you have to ask Tobias for that.
I can send the bass wherever you want, I'm used to it.
No trade possible because I'm financing a new purchase.
The bass can be tested near Metz on many amps.
Thank you!
