I am selling this hybrid Fender Jazz Bass which I bought second hand about 25 years ago and which I have used in about 500 concerts.
The neck bears the stamp "7 May 1972 A". The 1966 body has nothing written: It had probably been repainted before I purchased it as I deduce from the fact that various screw holes are plugged (see photo).
Original 1966 pickups, bridge, electronic cover plate and knobs. The 2 volume pots have been replaced and so has the Jack socket. The tone control potentiometer looks original as well as the various connection cables.
The serial number engraved in the neck plate, 360728, indicates that it belongs to the neck of '72 and not to the body of '66.
The pickguard is not original (when I purchased it had no pickguard) and so are the fixing screws.
The E tuners had been replaced with a Drop-D Schaller before I purchased it.
The truss-rod works perfectly, smooth, the neck is straight and very stable (it seems a bit bigger than the neck of other Fender Jazz that I tried).
Powerful output volume and very precise sound. The bass is very light. The Fender case was supplied on the bass when I purchased it.

Shipping to Italy: € 27,57 (UPS Standard). With full insurance € 54,41
Shipping to EU it depends on the location. Average: € 52,00 (UPS Standard). With full insurance € 78,81
