"This model takes again the characteristics of the Jazz bass of the 60s period pre CBS
Many copies of Jazz Bass are available on the market but very few really take the characteristics of the models of the 60s yet so popular for their sound.
The neck has a fine Rio rosewood fingerboard like the original models, which has the effect of filtering the mids less and energizing the sound of the instrument bringing that typical grain.
The ribs of the neck and the radius of the fingerboard are identical to the original models.
Neck width: 38 mm at the nut, 63.5 mm at the 20th fret, thickness 20.5 mm at the first fret.
Fingerboard Radius: 7.5 inch
The woods of this instrument are naturally dried and aged for many years to obtain the best sound.
After having tested most of the available microphones, I chose the HEPCAT microphones to equip this instrument, their sound is very close to that of Jazz bass microphones manufactured in the 60s with a very good bass / treble balance and without coloring in the high midrange. "
