Hi all,
I will be in Berlin and have a free day in November and thought to visit a bass guitar shop if there is any which sells specially high end instruments it would be best. Can anyone recommend a shop?
If not bass then double bass or pro audio?
Is there anything worth a visit bass or jazz...
In your shoes I would get a 12” speaker with front bass reflex and I think in fact I will. Perhaps the FMC 112 with an added 6” speaker and a tweeter which I will keep off with acoustic bass. I figured that is the most comprehensive speaker. So I test FMC speakers and replace my Tecamp 112xs

I might have found that my 1x12" cabinet doesn`t sound right for me as it has rear bass reflex so I might order a 12" cabinet from FMC which would fix both problems (acoustic and electric bass).

I'm in touch with him :-D
My feedback (mentioned in another thread) comes from the mic (a DPA 4099 straight into a Headway EDB2-HE) and it was acute when I used the tweeter on my Tecamp 112 xs and stil present when I used the PJB C4.
I cured it by lowering the mic volume (as I mix the piezo in) and using a notch filter...
How does your FMC 2x8 with tweeter handle feedback (when the tweeter is on) ?
Do you actually use the tweeter when playing upright pizzicato?
By your comments it looks like it is a self sufficient cabinet for an acoustic jazz ensemble. Right?
H all,
First of all excuse me to write in english but my german is somewhere in the back of my head. Feel free to answer in German though if you prefer.
In my quest for the sound of my acoustic bass guitar (Marcustico) which in fact sounds much more like an upright I tested the cabs I have and...
