Hi! It's a Japanese 'Standard'. Michael Tobias tells on his website only 400 were
made and quality was great.
I'm asking €950. The bass plays and sounds great indeed. Someone once put an extra potmeter in the bass, most probably to bring the mid eq to the frint. It was fixed and all is back to normal which means you can control bass and treble at the front and the mids with a hidden potmeter in the electrinics cavity. If you're interested do send me your e-mail address so I can send you some detailed pics.
Hi Wasnlos! The Tobias has a narrow string spacing. Something like 17,5 mm. For me the sole reason to let go of the bass. I used to have a TRB JP (the early, 34inch version). I must say that was a great bass too.
